A contract worth AED 162 million for the mechanical, electrical and plumbing works (MEP) at the 5-star Fairmont Palm Hotel & Resort has been awarded to Drake & Scull International (DSI), a leading end-to-end service provider of MEP services.

The project is located on the western portion of the Trunk of Palm Jumeirah in Dubai.

Expressing his company’s elation at being awarded the contract, Khaldoun Al Tabari, Chief Executive Officer, Drake and Scull International said, “This is a landmark win for us. Not only are we happy to be involved with such a prestigious project, we are also proud to have 3,000 people working on different projects on the Palm Jumeirah.”

The other projects alluded to by al Tabari include the Palm Residence Souq, part of the Palm Golden Mile consisting of 860 luxury apartments as well as the Fairmont Palm Residence, the luxurious residential development comprising 558 deluxe apartments, townhouses and penthouses.
